Partial Update 09/25/2011    

 

    The wedding rings above are mortal man's tactile symbol while "of the flesh", a "perfect circle never-ending" of the joining of a single Man unto a single Woman, now to become as one. The silhouette of the building at Sunset with "spire" upon the top of the page is no more than a rendition or yet a picture of an interesting skyline portraying a meeting place or yet a place to gather as a group for  those who wish to gather in a structure and prayerfully be of the same mind. All the above is fleeting, temporary, a hair's breadth in that medium we call time.

    The most *sublime "sight" on which thy eyes lay on this page, that of the words penned upon the pages of the book we call the Bible. A small verse or three of times past, present and promises foretold within one beautiful book of our Bible. 
    The few verses of Love spoken aloud within Canticles, (Song Of Solomon) are but one very small measure of truths abiding in the penned words of this Sacred book.  The rings are as wispy shadows in the dark of night when one begins to read and understands the "light" of the words they rest upon. The building of  brick and stone constructed by man's hand seemingly solid, strong, a "lasting" edifice to engineering and style of the moment!  Yet, the "life" of this edifice measured in scores of years, for a strong storm wind or a wondrous  arm of lightening it all returns to dust from that which it came through His hand.
The true full-measure poured-out unto all "by His Grace", the words and works of life everlasting. No child of God can no more read these few sentences and understand the richness of this one sacred book as yet the unread "other" 65 books are the "mortar" which binds them as a true Perfect whole!  One must see and feel the sights, sounds, flavors of language, the "how" of how this single Holy book intertwines with the other Sixty-Five which "in His Name" were left unto all.
     The "times" of "fresh fire" are upon all who "claim His name". Tis the season of winnowing, more plainly spoken, to separate the Wheat from the Chaff through the winds of His breath blowing upon the "tossed grain" removing the undesirable from the good "fruit" of the grains.
"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh" Luke 21:28
     The Spiritual winds of change are upon the Bride, one need only to be still, quieting your heart, listen to the truth of the "season of change upon all" as this is the rising-up of His promised Word within. This change is palpable within many whom have sought His face yet also felt and seen within those whom have never brought Him forward into there being, they to feel the awakening.
    The Spirit of His coming 'tis most surely moving throughout the world as we know it.  From its inception this web site was "born by faith" a small Christian site among many helping spread the Word as written unto all Men, all Nations. All "sister sites" woven into this venue help with funding so Gospel Revelation Ministries may continue to sponsor a number of Christian web-sites. 
    Let there be no misunderstanding, we are "in this world" to give testimony when "called" by any means as written within the book we call "the Bible".
Blessed are those who seek His face.

Via de Cristo

PERSONAL THOUGHT;

    I was sponsored to attend a Via de Cristo "weekend" Known as LIGHTHOUSE 13) a number of years ago by a truly upright Christian man, (Reverend Bernard Cowley) whom I can say, I love you Ben for your compassion and humble Grace as well as your being a mentor to me and others, the love you showed me and my fellow children Of our LORD. You are a true inspiration to all you touch, a blessed man, teacher, Preacher and a full-time evangelist for our Father!  Frankly, with no reservations, that weekend was a milestone within my life, an "ah hah" epiphany moment.  mere words do not nor cannot describe this turning-point in my Christian life, my own personal walk with our Lord. I went to what is know as, "Lighthouse 13, sitting within a group named, "Table of Mark". 

    Might I also say that this in no way kept me from making some bad non-Christian decisions during the past years due to my having free-will and choice. BUT, I will always be indebted to Reverend Cowley and the rest of the group for a true life-changing experience, an "awakening" and touching by and of the Holy Spirit that I hunger for to this day. Again, if you ever "stumble across this site Rev. C., great and manifest Blessings unto thee and thy family!

 

    Via de Cristo is of many faiths, Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist, Episcopal and of many other Church Groups. If it were possible my wish would to recommend and personally sponsor every Man and Woman who is of the Body of Christ to a three day Via de Cristo weekend retreat.

 

    FACT, this time spent at Via de Cristo is not about your denomination, this is all about YOUR PERSONAL WALK WITH OUR LORD. I would like to say more, alas, my letting you know the "what" of what you will experience would give away the "heart" of the weekend. Lets just say, from the moment you "give-up" control, every moment, every hour, every day gets more spiritual to the point of utter surrender to HIM. (it just keeps getting better and better), you will be SPIRIT "filled-up" way past the brim, there is no "Cup" to contain the Joy!

 

If you know of a Via de Cristo group/team/ Church in your area please make contact, do whatever it takes to go to this "retreat". If you do not have the recourses and you are in Florida or close please let me know and I will help find you a Via de Cristo weekend, this I pledge unto thee.
